I got some spanish mackerel aka 'ikan tenggiri' from hub's uncle at the wet market. Normally I just scrape the flesh to make fish paste and throw away the bone. But this time I keep the bone and use it to make a soup base.
I cooked the soup with spanish mackerel fish bone. The soup is then added with some carrots, cabbage and fish paste. I tell Heng Heng he is going to have 'Maggie Mee' today. He always wants to have a share when I eat 'Maggie Mee' ( I actually don't eat Maggie brand, but for us instant noddles actually it's known as the 'Maggie Mee' .
